How to Download Static Data and Convert It to RINEX Format
In this tutorial, we'll walk you through how to download static data from your APEKS device and convert it into RINEX format using the GNSS Data Converter tool. Follow the four easy steps below!
✅ Step 1: Connect to the Device's Wi-Fi

On your computer, connect to the device's Wi-Fi network.

Open your web browser and enter:
192.168.10.1 -
Press Enter.

Once connected, the device interface will appear in your browser.
💾 Step 2: Download Static Data

Navigate to Data Communication > File.

Find the folder named Static Data.
-
Open the folder.
-
Click Download to save the file.
-
The file will be saved in .txt format.

🔁 Step 3: Convert TXT to RINEX

Create a folder on your computer in advance — name it RINEX.

Open the GnssDataConverter software.
-
Go to File > Add Files and select the
.txtfile you just downloaded. -
Set the Output Directory to the RINEX folder you created.

Under Version, choose your preferred RINEX version (e.g., 2.11 or 3.03).

Fill in:

File Name
-
Marker Type
-
Mode
-
-
Click Convert Individually.

A confirmation window will appear: “Start convert now?”

Click Yes to begin.

📂 Step 4: Check the Converted File
Once the conversion is complete:

Open the RINEX folder.

You'll find the converted
.rnxfile ready to use.

You've now successfully downloaded static data from your APEKS device and converted it into RINEX format. This process is essential for post-processing and sharing GNSS data in a standard format.
